Biography
Dr. Shyam Sharan Shrestha is the Programme Coordinator at Shradha Institute of Health Science, Bhaktapur, Nepal. He holds a Ph.D. in Phytochemistry, completed through Tribhuvan University, Nepal, and the Department of Pharmaceutical and Pharmacological Sciences at the University of Padova, Italy, in 2022. His research interests include phytochemistry, cytotoxicity, in-vitro bioassays, ethnobotany, conservation genetics, biodiversity, and conservation biology. He has contributed to more than five nationally and internationally funded research projects and has published research papers in international journals. Dr. Shrestha is also associated with the Natural Product Laboratory at the University of Padova and serves as Secretary of the Himalayan Research and Development Center, Nepal.
